Jesień means autumn, zimno cold and the rest you already know!

Per primer cop intentaré escriure el bloc en català i anglès ja que hi ha gent que em llegeix i el català com que no el dominen… A veure que passa!

For the first time try to write blog in English and Catalan as there are people who read me and Catalan and they don’t know it… Let’s see what happens!

A Wrocław fa dies que va arrivar la tardor! Tots els arbres estaven de color groc i els terres plens de fulles, la convinació era molt maca pero tot i que ho vaig intentar algunes vegades, no vaig conseguir fer “la foto” que realment volia. Una on es veies el contrast de colors, en part també perqué el cel estava tot el dia ple de nubols i no veiem gairebé la llum del sol o el blau del cel… Pero aixó va canviar. En un arrebato de “bojeria” vaig comprar uns bitllets per anar a passar el cap de setmana a Olsztyn. M’explicaré…

In Wrocław the fall arrived a few days ago! All the trees were yellow and floors full of leaves, the combination was very nice although I tried a few times, I can achieve “the photo” I really wanted. One where you could see the contrast of colors, partly because the sky was cloudy all day and we can’t see nearly sunlight or blue sky … But that changed. In one “Crazy Attack” I bought a ticket to spend the weekend in Olsztyn. Let me explain …

Resulta que a Białystok vam tenir durant el nostre mes allà un grup d’estudiants polonesos que ens van ajudar en tot el varem necesitar, ens van preparar activitats, sortides, festes… Gracies a ells la integració va ser molt més profunda i rapida (i si tenim en compte que alguns de nosaltres només passavem un mes allà, aquest últim punt es important). Dons bé, jo vaig establir amistat amb dues noies de Białystok, l’Ania i la Magda, son les dues que més em van ajudar i realment es van preocupar molt per a que passesim un bon temps allà. Un cop acabat el curs, la Magda va marxar a Olsztyn a estudiar i l’Ania es va quedar a Białystok estudiant. A l’Ania la vaig veure l’ultim cop quan vaig tornar a Białystok pero la Magda no va poder venir.

It turns out that in Białystok we had during our days there a group of Polish students who helped us in everything we need, they prepared activities, outings, parties … Thanks to them, the integration was much deeper and faster (and if you consider that some of us we were only there for one month, this last point is important.) So well, I befriended with two girls Białystok, Magda and Ania, are the two ones that really helped me and they were really concerned to make us spend a good time there. Upon completing the course, Magda went to study in Olsztyn and Ania stayed in Białystok student. I saw Ania the last time when I returned to Białystok but Magda could not come.

En una mena d’atac de bojeria ens vam comprar els bitllets d’autobus amb l’Ania i ens vam presentar divendres a Olsztyn en plan sorpresa! Va ser molt divertida la cara de sorpresa que va posar. Realment es mereixia una sorpresa per alegar-li els dies (està estudiant lluny de les seves amistats i esta una mica desanimada), ja que ens va ajudar a buscar pis inclus desde la distancia concertan-nos una cita amb la propietaria (ja que nomes xerra polones) i a més que el seu sentiment de sentir-se lluny dels seus amics era (i en part encara es) el mateix que sentia jo al trobarme lluny dels meus amics del curs de EILC de Bialystok i hem compartit penes…

In a sort of crazy attack we buy bus tickets with Ania and we plan to apear on Friday in Olsztyn as asurprise! She really deserved surprise to cheer her up (she’s studying away from his friends and is somewhat discouraged), since helped us to look from the flat included concertan get an appointment with the owner (because they only speak Polish) and also her feeling of being away from their friends was (and partly still is) the same as I felt being away from my friends of course EILC Bialystok and we just shared the same feeling. 😀

Cal dir que ha estat un molt, molt bon cap de setmana, he menjat menjar Polones cuinat per elles (de fet no em van deixar cuinar), hem visitat la ciutat d’Olsztyn que realment val la pena veure, he entrat en contacte amb la neu per primer cop en aquesta temporada, hem sortit de festa per Halloween amb un “maquillatge” d’emergencia, hem begut Kadarka (un vi forrça tirat) i Tequila (molt tirat) i fins i tot hem vist una pelicula. Realment m’he sentit molt acollit entre polonesos que resulta que tenen fama de ser poc oberts i poc hospitalaris, el que comentava dels estereotips… Realment s’han portat molt i molt be amb mi i tant sols fa un mes i poc que les conec pero podria dir que les considero amigues meves. Suposo que es una de les virtuds del Erasmus. 🙂

I must say that was a very, very good weekend, I ate Polish food cooked for them (actually  they would not let me cook), we visited the city of Olsztyn (really worth watching), I got in touch with Snow for the first time this season, we went to a Halloween party with emergency “makeup”,we’ve drunk Kadarka  (A very special wine) and Tequila (in shots) and we’ve even seen a movie. I really felt very welcomed among Poles, is said that the Poles are not very open and not very hospitable. As I said two posts before, that are just stereotypes … They’ve been really, really nice with me and I only know thay just from one month and a half before, but I can consider they as my friends. I suppose that one of the virtues of Erasmus. 🙂

I va ser a Olsztyn on diumenge ens va fer un dia radiant, feia fred, si, pero el sol brillava a dalt de cel, els colors que a Wroclaw semblaven grissosos, aquí tenien les mil i una tonalitats que us pogueu imaginar, aixi que vaig treure la camera i vaig disfrutar com un nen petit amb una joguina nova el dia de reis!

And it was in Olsztyn on Sunday, surprisely it was a amazing day, it was cold, yes, but the sun shone at the top of the sky, the colors that seemed grey in Wroclaw, there were a thousand and one shades you can imagine, so I I took the camera and I enjoyed as a small child with a new toy the day of kings!

Ahir em vaig menjar unes altres 11h d’autobus per a tornar fins a Wroclaw. Cal dir que 11h no deixen de ser un pal pero els preus son ridiculs (estem parlant de 15€ anar i tornar perfectament) aixi que realment les 11h d’autobus han valgut la pena. Fins i tot vaig tenir un guitarrista amenitza-me la tornada!

Yesterday I spent others 11h in the bus to return to Wroclaw. 11h must say that they are still a stick but the prices are ridiculous (we’re talking about 15 € for going and  coming back) so I really have 11h bus worthwhile. I even have a guitarist brighten me back!

El seguent objectiu es prepara un tour per a la Marina i la Gemma que arriben demà passat i les he de treure a coneixer Wroclaw! I visitar Krakovia per fí!

The next goal is preparing a tour in for Marina and Gemma arriving the day after tomorrow and I get to know Wroclaw! I visiting Krakow at last!

Ara només em queda organitzarme els caps de setmana per a poder disfrutar d’activitats com aquesta i coneixer realment i d’aprop el que es Polonia, de fet ja ho diu el meu bloc, “Soc un Polac descobrint Polonia”.

Now I have to arrange my weekends to be able to enjoy activities like this and get to know really how is Poland and the Polish people from the inside, actually my blog says it, “I am a “Polish”, discovering Poland.”
